“WORLD WITHOUT BLINDNESS”

“World without blindness” is a medical-, social- and scientific program based on “Direct vision”. The aim is to open new perspectives and realize new opportunities for human society.

“Direct vision” is an is officially registered method developed by V.M. Bronnikov, member of the Russian Academy of Science. It works with the still undeveloped abilities of the human brain which are activated during the REM-sleep. No techniques to influence the mind like hypnoses are being used.
The method is simple and is easy to transfer. Educational systems based on “Direct vision” are specially developed to learn blind and poor sighted people to use this alternative vision.

A human being is able to “see” and perceive information about the form and features of surrounding objects and environment without using his eyes. There is objective scientific proof that this quality really exists. In November 2000 at the international congress “Results of the Millennium” in Saint-Petersburg, the academician Natalya Petrovna Bekhtereva announced the newly found human ability “Direct Vision”, the ability to see without eyes. For several years professor Bekhtereva has been conducting scientific research at the Human Brain Institute in Saint-Petersburg  to study “Direct Vision”.

The “World without blindness” program has started its way in Saint-Petersburg which is known for its outstanding scientists and progressive ideas and initiatives.

The program was headed by the following organizations:
  • Board of The Human Science Academy, directed by Alexei Nikolayevich Kadochnikov (Saint-Petersburg),
  • Human Brain Institute of the Russian Scientific Academy, directed by Svyatoslav Vsevolodovich Medvedev (Saint-Petersburg),
  • International Academy of Human Development, presided by Vyacheslav Mikhailovich Bronnikov (Moscow).
  • The World Committee “The Third Millennium” under the direction of Xavier Peres de Cuéllar

The program “World without blindness” is a excellent way to help solve the many complicated problems concerning blindness. At this moment the world counts 70 million blind people, who can not be helped through traditional methods. At the same time there is a over all decline of sight in the world due to the influence of computers and other man-caused factors.

The first phase of the program was to teach blind and poor sighted children in specialized schools. Now it provides beside that, a wide scientific research and training for a growing number of new instructors and teachers.

At the moment the director of the program is Alexander Levit. For more information click here
